You can earn the fit, healthy body you want even though you're a little older.

You can build muscle, lose body fat, and have more energy to enjoy your life more fully with your busy schedule and all of your responsibilities.

You know it.

You are correct. There's no doubt about. I've helped countless older men in your situation or even worse do it over the years. So can you.

I understand that taking your fitness to that "next level" can be frustrating. It shouldn't be this difficult for a man like you. You've achieved "next level" with your family, business, and probably even both throughout your life. There's no reason why you can't do it with your fitness too.

That's the frustrating part, right? You've earned success in other parts of your life and have done so for years. Intellectually, you know that earning a higher level of success in fitness shouldn't be any different.

You're right. You can.

You're also right that getting fit is no different than earning the success you have with your business and family. It shouldnโ€™t be this difficult.

And, I also understand that it doesn't matter to you if you are doing better than other men your age. Comparing yourself to other men is something you've never done. It's part of your winning mindset. You want to get more fit because you know you can. You're willing to do the work. That's just who you are.

We only have so much willpower, focus, energy, and time. You must use it wisely. You can spend hours every day working out or counting calories. Most of the workouts and eating plans seem too complicated and time-consuming. You're not 25 years old anymore. You don't have brain space, desire, or time to follow through with all the fitness advice that appears to be presented by much-younger fitness experts and designed for much-younger men who do.

You're right. That's why it's difficult to get the information you need at your age and with your priorities in life.

It's a jungle out there.

There's a saying by Scott Adams that's simple and powerful.

"Figure out the price for success and then pay it."

It applies to fitness.

It applies to all areas of life.

Most of the men I deal with are more than willing to pay the price to get fit. I'm sure that's true of you. You just can't figure out what that damn price is. The information is presented in way that's too confusing even for a smart man like you.

It's not your fault.

The younger fitness experts don't live your life. They don't have your life experiences and perspective yet. They normally don't have your responsibilities. And, even if they were awesome communicators who really understood your situation, it's tough to get their message across through one-sided videos on the internet.

So, what's the price you have to pay to get fit so you can just get to work and just pay it?

It will come down to how you're prioritizing how you invest your willpower, focus, energy and time to the workouts and eating plans you've chosen. It probably will not come down to new, revolutionary training program or diet.

Most smart, successful older men put way too much emphasis on things that just don't matter. Even if they achieve success, it's not sustainable for their busy lives.

They're unnecessarily paying too high of a price.

So, what do they do? They decide what important and what's not. And, even though they've achieved success in other important areas of life, they do a poor job of choosing what's most important.

They're mistakenly paying too little of the price required for success.

That's when it gets frustrating. That's when all of your hard work goes to waste. That's when you start thinking that getting fit at your age is impossible.

Again, it's not your fault. It's just the way the information is presented.

You can do this.

For most men, it comes down to the basics. It's making sure all the basics are covered.

But here's the most important part.

You have to continually take the basics to a higher and higher level. I don't care how successful you are in life, there is always a higher level. That's true of the basics in fitness too.

Too many older men get the basics covered and then more on to the new, revolutionary workouts and eating plans hoping that's going to get them to the higher level they're after.

It's not. Go deeper with your execution of the basics.

Isn't that what you would tell a young apprentice coming to you for advice because he wants to achieve the level of success you've earned with your business and family?

You need to learn what's important and what's not. Your understanding is going to be different than other men your age. Then, get better and better at what's important.

That's the price you need to pay. Once you understand this, you can start paying the appropriate price and achieve success. You won't pay too much and waste your time. You won't mistakenly pay too little and waste your time.

Let's do this.

When you look in the mirror, youโ€™ll know what it takes to get from where you are now (Point A) to get to where you want to be (Point B) with more certainty and confidence. Then, it will just be a matter of you doing what you know for a long enough period of time. Thatโ€™s a great place to be. Youโ€™ll have a better sense of control during the entire process. The most important training, eating, lifestyle, and mindset strategies are all covered.

Most older men canโ€™t.

No matter what they say, they canโ€™t.

And, because they canโ€™t, the information you need to hear never gets told.

It goes against the grain.

It gets too much resistance from untrained minds.

So, why bother?

These are just a few of the things that elite, experienced men who workout and look great (and have for a long time) want to tell you, but they know you just wonโ€™t understand.

They know that you are getting the majority of your instruction from undertrained minds. Youโ€™re getting your information from people who worry too much about what other people think. They worry about what the โ€œinternet trollsโ€ and inexperienced, less knowledgeable fitness experts will say about them.

Today after a warm-up I decided to eliminate pyramiding up in weight and just go for my heaviest weight for 8-10 in squats. That was 225/8, 225/6, and 225/7. Then I applied that same method with incline DB 70/11, 70/10, followed by close grip Lat Pulldowns 125/10, 130/10, 140/7. With a bit more rest between sets I hit my 1st rule. My rule is 60 minutes
